Welcome to my thoughts and opinions, on issues I feel strongly about. The reason for this page is pretty much to vent on all the stupidity and hatred that is in this beautiful world we live in, and if you have not noticed I think Mother Nature agrees with me! Also recently I have had a lot of loss in my live. I lost my best friend in the whole world to cancer (lymphoma) in January 2006 my dog Harley and my mother to Ovarian Cancer in March 2006 and now Lobo my other dog to Kidney failure in July 2006. My best friend was my dog Harley who you can see up in the top right hand corner of this site. I am in the process of writing a book on how my dog Harley had much better medical care than my mother did. My sister (who is absolutely amazing) took care of my mother during her fight with cancer. She had to fight hard to make sure my mom was not forgotten and that she got the care she needed.

Everyday we read, listen and observe some of the most evil, to the most stupid acts and statements in history. And most of it seems to be all in the name of organized religion. There are so many people out there that can't take responsibility for anything they do, it is always someone else's fault. Is it going to take a full fledged World War III before we can just tolerate each other? I really hope not, but history does seem to repeat itself and there are so many things leading us in that direction.

I am not a religious person but I do believe in most of the 10 Commandments. See my version of the 10 Commandments. Shouldn't it be common sense "Thou Shall Not Murder ". Not in this world. Everyone is so wrapped up in their own little world that people don't want to take care of their own kids, or politicians only see what is good to get them re-elected or they get to greedy and only go to jail for a short period of time, when if it was you or me, they would probably through away the key. We have pedophiles, rapist and murders that only serve short sentences and then they are out committing the same crime on someone else that happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. When people are getting arrested and thrown in jail for life for smoking pot. Does this seem a bit backwards to anyone else but me?

I believe in our Constitution of the United States of America, but over the years lawyers and politicians have used the Constitution to hide behind and to manipulate and now it is just a worthless piece of paper at least the way I am seeing the world right now.

The only way we are going to change our lives for the better is to vote. Not just vote so you can say you voted and just to vote the same person in office who has been there for as long as I have been born. We all need to send a message to the people who are suppose to protect us that they need to do a much better job. The best way to do that is by voting in the new person every single time you vote. Politicians have gotten to comfortable and to powerful for themselves only. Send them your message we need new blood and that this should not be a career. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Adams, John Adams, John Hancock and the other 50 people who signed our Declaration of Independence did not want people to make a career out of politics. We have term limits with the President, why not as a Senator or a Representative. Because they are the one with the real power and they will never give it up unless we make them. So send that message we are tired of the high cost of taxes and frivolously spending of our money not theirs. When I was younger I was a Democrat then later in life I became a Republican now I don't was to be apart of a party I want to vote for the person who is going to do the best job possible to make this a better country to live in and make those 56 people proud they created the best country on this earth. I want to be proud to be an American again.

Definitions

Illegal - forbidden by law or statute ( illegal immigrant - forbidden by law to enter a country - Our Country USA)

Maybe it is me but if they are illegal immigrants, meaning that they are forbidden to come into this country with out the proper documentation, then why are these illegal immigrants, especially the ones that commit crimes are not thrown in jail or sent back to their own country? And why are mayors handing out ID cards to illegal immigrants when they should be deporting them. I understand that most illegal immigrants come to this country for a better life but they must follow our laws and if not well then there are consequences that have to me taken. And my last question is where are the American people who should be making a big stink about this. They get government healthcare, (our money) and other benefits that a lot of us don't and can't get and we are legal citizens and/or legal immigrants. Shame on all of you!!

The War in Afghanistan and Iraq

I really don't understand people! Does anyone remember what happened to 3000 people on September 11, 2001? Or is their horrific death not important? Does anyone remember that some people in the Twin Towers had to choose between jumping to their death or burning? Don't get me wrong but I don't want our men and women our sons, daughter, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces killed in a senseless war. I don't believe this war is senseless. If we pull out now before Iraq and Afghanistan can fully protect themselves we are going to have bigger problems. Also this talk about how Sadam did not have weapons of mass destruction these people are full of shit. This was the real first mistake President Bush did. He gave Sadam 6 months notice of when we would come to Iraq and take him out of power. If you had things you where not suppose to have in your home and the police gave you 6 months notice that they where coming to seize these items, would you be stupid enough to leave them there to find them?

If we pull out now, Al Quida, Hamas and all the other countries with bad guys (and there is a lot of them) will immediately come in and use Iraq as a breading ground for training camps on how to kill westerners and then when they are done with the US and Europe they will find another group of people to kill because that is their mentality.

You might not like the war, I don't like it and especially the way President Bush is handling both Afghanistan and Iraq but it is important to be there. And it is not just for oil, (that might be one of President Bush's reasons) but it so we can fight them in their back yard instead of ours.

But the most important thing is that we must support our troops. You have to remember most of the men and women over there enlisted right after September 11, 2001. They did this because 3000 people died for no reason except because someone does not like us. If we allowed everyone to kill someone else just because they don't like them there would only be one person left on this Earth. So let the troops know how much you appreciate their sacrifice so that the rest of our children who did not want to enlist don't have to. Let them know that you appreciate their sacrifice not for the thousands that have lost their lives already but for the families that don't have their loved one home and for the families who will never see their loved one again. So the next time you get to go into Starbucks or buy the new iPhone or purchase that 92 inch plasma tv, the privilege to have a good job, a roof over your head, electricity to see at night and have running water, thank our armed forces for all those things and more.

We keep hearing about the aftermath of people from hurricane Katrina but as always people and media have forgotten the pets and animal shelter animals that have endured the same catastrophe. If you would like to help the animals from hurricane Katrina please give to the organizations listed below for helping those who never have a voice and need help just as much as their two legged companions.

I just heard that there are people being rescued from their homes in New Orleans and they are not letting them take their pets and the police have been ordered to shoot cats and dogs on site. This has to be stopped. Please help.

I have contacted all major news stations via email relaying the concerns we all share here I have for these pets. A person just witnessed a small dog on a roof alone in the current rescue area of New Orleans looking completely defeated. 2 people were down below away from the dog. They don't know who they were and if they even noticed the dog. Many similar stories. Emails may or may not get thru or do any good but if everyone concerned wrote in, we may get some positive results. Give it a try. I would not suggest mass mailing news stations due to potential errors if one email address is defective. Let your voice be heard. Just be tact full for the animals sake. Email addresses below:
