About Jamie Keever
Just like everyone else I have had a rough life but I have not let that define my life. My mother had Manic-Depressive Illness. It was rough having her in and out of hospitals most of my life because with Manic Depression when they are on their medication they feel normal so they stop taking the medication and the cycle happens over and over again. My Mom passed away March 25, 2006 of Ovarian Cancer. That was probably the roughest thing I have ever been through. My younger sister, Jennifer was by her side 24/7 taking care of her and fighting with doctors and nurses on her care. I don't know how she did it because every time I went to see Mom it killed me. I would cry all the way home. My sister is the most remarkable strongest person I know. But the messed up thing was my dog (best friend) Harley was diagnosed with Lymphoma and got such better treatment than my Mom did, and she was in the most predigest hospitals in the country.
I have gone to school for business, photography, film, video and 3D animation. I work for a multi media company named Frognet.com and I have the best bosses ever. They have been so understanding with me first loosing Harely then Mom and now my first dog Lobo all in a time span of 6 months.
I have done a lot of different jobs but my favorite is what I call my fun job. I am also the Operations Manager for the Bridgeport Shooting Range in Bridgeport, CT. Shooting is the greatest sport ever. What else can you do to release so much stress and have a blast at the same time. It always puts a smile on my face after I shoot. My boss at the range is a cop and he is the best, most easy going guy. I have learned a lot from him, not just with shooting but with business and live in general. |
